‘Was I as good as one of those other people you don’t remember?’ Nicole Scherzinger awkwardly laughs off AGT guest Hans’ Pussycat Dolls jibe… as he performs the girlband’s hit Don’t Cha

Nicole Scherzinger was left looking rather awkward when former America’s Got Talent star Hans poked fun at her former Pussycat Dolls bandmates.

The accordion star was a guest judge on Sunday night’s Australia’s Got Talent semi-final show and caught Nicole off guard with his subtle jibes, following his performance of the girlband’s hit Don’t Cha.

Hans quipped that the US star couldn’t remember the names of her fellow Pussycat Dolls, leaving Nicole speechless and awkwardly trying to laugh off his remark.

Awkward, much? Nicole Scherzinger was left looking rather awkward when former America’s Got Talent star Hans poked fun at her former Pussycat Doll bandmates on Sunday night’s show

Hans, whose real name is Matt Gilbertson, was appearing as a guest judge and took to the stage ahead of the semi-finalists with his eccentric rendition of Nicole’s track.

She joked she was ‘taking notes’ from his colourful display, before Hans then joined her up on the judge’s panel.

Seeking her approval, he then name-checked Carmit Bachar and Melody Thornton and said: ‘Was I at least as good as Carmit? Or Melody? Or one of those other people you don’t remember the names of?’

Ouch: Taken aback by his remark, Nicole didn't respond and awkwardly attempted to laugh off Hans saying she couldn't remember her bandmates, but looked noticeable irked onscreen

Hans said he was more than ready to have the power in his hands and declared himself an ‘icon’ and ‘Berlin’s answer to Susan Boyle’ while introducing himself.

Hans, who hails from Adelaide, impressed on America’s Got Talent in 2018 with his cabaret act and made it through to the quarter-finals on the show.

He was won over by fellow singer Jennifer Anderson and threw his support behind her by energetically stamping on his golden buzzer – sending her through to the grand final.
