Nikki Osborne reveals the racy joke she made live on air that got her ‘fired’ 

Nikki Osborne is known for her controversial comedy stylings. 

And on Monday, the funnywoman shared the joke that she pushed a little too far while live on air on Channel Nine. 

In a video shared to Instagram Stories, the 40-year-old discussed her sex life during an appearance on the breakfast program Mornings.

‘My husband says you don’t look at the turkey while you’re stuffing it,’ she joked, referring to whether wearing sexy lingerie to bed is appealing to one’s spouse. 

After some uncomfortable laughter, host David Campbell said he would ‘never look at a turkey the same way again’. 

In her caption, Nikki wrote, ‘Yes I was fired. Lasted three weeks’.

Nikki is no stranger to controversy, with her views sometimes falling afoul of public opinion. 

In February, the comedian lashed out at ‘political correctness’ and says she is being ‘bullied’ for her views. 

‘Yes I’m posting a lot about bullying lately,’ she began her Instagram Stories post.

‘I have copped a lot of bullying lately disguised as political correctness. Just because you think you’re right, doesn’t excuse the abuse,’ she went on. 

‘People forget that. But I’m a big girl so I’m fine but kids, kids don’t know how to respond. Careful what righteous speech you arm your kids with.’

The day prior, Nikki had shared footage of an anti-vaccination mandate protest in Canberra calling it the state’s ‘greatest tourism campaign yet’.

It comes after the I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! Australia contestant was slammed for comparing Covid vaccines to rape. 

The post in question, which has since been deleted, depicts convicted sex offender Harvey Weinstein alongside actress Lindsay Lohan, with the caption: ‘The original no jab, no job’.
