Nikki Phillips gushes over her newborn son Jett

She’s the model who recently gave birth to her miracle baby a decade after she was diagnosed with cervical cancer.

And New Zealand-born model Nikki Phillips has opened up motherhood following about her delicate pregnancy to her firstborn Jett, who was born last month.

The 33-year-old told The Daily Telegraph that she and husband, Dane Rumble, were filled with fear and worry after already experiencing three heartbreaking miscarriages.

‘He definitely puts things into perspective’: Model Nikki Phillips has opened up motherhood following about her delicate pregnancy to her firstborn Jett, who was born last month

‘The moment he came out and I put him on my chest, you have this little life on top of you. The fear and worry doesn’t go anywhere because now you have this amazing little human being and how do you look after him,’ the Sydney-based model said.

Nikki added that despite the feeling of worry for Jett and whether she and Dane are being good parents, her heart is constantly full of love.

‘He definitely puts things into perspective with life. You wonder what you did before with your time and what you invested everything in and he just makes everything so real and meaningful,’ the model gushed about her little boy.

‘It is something we are already talking about,’ she said.

She added: ‘We aren’t starting straight away, but with the struggles we had, we know it is going to 100 per cent happen again’.

In July, the beauty announced to her 78,000 followers that she had given birth to her baby son.
