A nine-year-old boy has stolen millions of hearts across he internet after delivering an emotional speech at his older sister’s wedding, breaking down in tears while thanking her for ‘giving him a brother-in-law’.
Gus Bower’s heart-rending speech has now turned into a viral sensation after being shared online by the wedding videographer, who captured the adorable little boy choking back sobs while paying tribute to his older sister, Catie, 27.
In the video, the youngster, from Denver, Colorado, is seen standing at a microphone with a phone in his hand, while addressing Catie and her new husband Troy Hudson, 25, both of whom were unable to hold back their own tears as Gus broke down in ‘tears of joy’.

Catie and Troy Hudson, from Denver, Colorado, got married in August. And when Catie’s little brother, Gus, gave a toast to the newlyweds, he started crying, but insisted it was ‘tears of joy’
So sweet! In the adorable video, which has recently gone viral on TikTok, he said he was ‘so happy’ that his sister ‘gave him a brother-in-law’
‘I know I might seem a little sad up here but these are tears of joy,’ the nine-year-old said into the microphone as the camera showed his sister wiping away tears.
‘Catie, I love you so much and I am so happy that you gave me a brother-in-law,’ he added, as he too started to cry.
His sweet message has gone viral on the internet, with people flooding the comment section with messages like, ‘I’m not okay,’ ‘My heart,’ and, ‘Now I’m crying.’
‘Not to be dramatic, but I would die for him,’ one person wrote.
‘Unreal! This is hands down the cutest thing I’ve ever seen!’ another person added.
