Noel Gallagher has revealed he’s leaving London after a man was recently stabbed on his street.

The former Oasis rocker, opened up on his relocation plans after declaring the city is too dangerous to raise his family in.

Speaking about the events leading to his big decision, Noel told the Irish Independent: ‘We didn’t want the kids growing up in London. We’ve had two stabbings outside our house in the last while.

‘I live, as you can imagine, in quite an affluent area. At one end of the street is one housing estate and the other end is another housing estate, and they are currently at war.’

The Holy Mountain hitmaker continued: ‘One guy was multiple [sic] stabbed in the middle of the f***king day and an air ambulance had to come and land in the middle of the street and all the streets were taped off.’

Noel also opened up on fears his young boys will get mugged on the tube once they’re old enough to use public transport alone.

He described how the thought of his lad being ‘mugged for his phone’ on the tube ‘too f**king stressful’, adding it was a major factor in his family moving.

The singer then told how he plans to put his kids in school in the countryside and will commute into London when necessary.

Noel’s younger brother Liam Gallagher, who he has an on-going feud with, recently shared similar views about fears for his children.

Speaking on BBC Breakfast, the Rock ‘N’ Roll star, 46, said: ‘Every morning you wake up there’s some 16-year-old being knifed to death and that.

‘I’ve got kids that age, out and about and that, doing their thing, living, being young. That freaks me right out – it does worry me. I’ve got teenagers.’

Meanwhile, Noel has recently sold his £8million North London property to Davinia Taylor.

Having previously bought the Oasis star’s £3.25million West London home – Supernova Heights – in 2005, before offloading it to David Walliams, the ex-party girl has now acquired Noel’s North London mansion, complete with a gym, six bedrooms and a garden room.

Noel will no doubt be delighted the Primrose Hill socialite and ex-Hollyoaks star, 41, has purchased the property , which is less than two-miles from Supernova Heights, after a lengthy struggle to sell.

The substantial stucco-fronted period property went on sale in 2016 for £11million, before being offered at the ‘bargain’ price of £8,950,000 in December last year.

In February it was reported the rocker had taken another £500,000 off the Little Venice property, bringing the asking price down to £8,495,000.

Located in a neighborhood full of celebrities, including Kate Moss and Amanda Holden, the singer initially paid £8 million for the five bedroom house in 2010.

Back at the start of 2016, Noel appealed for help in flogging the mansion, appealing to any super-rich readers who might be interested.

‘If there are any wealthy Russians reading this story give me a call please, because I have a house I’m trying to sell,’ the Oasis star said.

‘I’ve got one on the market and it’s proving very difficult to shift… if you’re a Russian oligarch. I’m upgrading.’
