Gender reveal parties have become the newest pregnancy trend, with a growing number of couples choosing to find out the sex of their baby in a magical release of coloured confetti.
But one expectant mother may have got a reaction she didn’t bargain for at her gender reveal in Rockingham, Western Australia.
Footage taken of the balloon pop showed the hilarious moment the mum-to-be’s young son discovered he was about to get another baby sister.

The video was taken by the boy’s amused grandmother Dorothy Symonds, who said her grandson Kaleb now wants to move in with her to get away from his female siblings.
‘No! No! Noooooo!’ Kaleb can be heard screaming.
The new baby will be the fourth child for the Rockingham-based family, with Ms Symonds admitting they were all hoping for a boy.
Young Kaleb has since accepted the news, as his grandmother revealed he is happy to be famous from her video
According to his grandmother, Kaleb grabbed a tub of ice cream after the reveal and descended into an emotional eating frenzy.
One of Kaleb’s sisters looked equally underwhelmed in the clip as she stormed out of the shot while her mother laughed.
In a Facebook comment, Ms Symonds said Kaleb is ‘happy because he’s famous now’ thanks to her video.
