A Sydney man who once made headlines for a shocking foul-mouthed verbal tirade at police is behind bars after he allegedly assaulted five police officers.
Bahaa Youssef, who has ‘f*** the police’ tattooed on his arm has been charged with a string of drugs, weapon and assault charges after police investigating alleged firearm and drug offences raided his Redfern unit on Thursday.
‘We understand there was a raid on the premises and from there charges will be laid,’ his lawyer Elias Tabchouri told 7 News.
Youssef was taken to Redfern Police Station, where he was charged with multiple counts of drug supply and possessing unauthorised firearms.

‘Police will allege when the man was taken to the Sydney Police Centre, he urinated in the dock before assaulting a sergeant. Four officers who went to his aid were then allegedly assaulted by the man,’ a NSW Police statement said.
The officers were taken to hospital suffering minor injuries, including bite wounds, grazes and swelling.
Youssef was taken St Vincent’s Hospital for monitoring before he returned to the Sydney Police Centre where he was charged with more offences, including five counts of assault police in execution of duty, destroy or damage property, and intimidate police.

He appeared Central Local Court via videolink on Friday, where he didn’t apply for bail, which was formally refused.
He will reappear in court later this month.
Now 29, Youssef went viral in January 2017 when he filmed himself unleashing a stream of sexually charged barbs at police who asked him for identification.
The vision showed him flipping the bird at officers with his tattooed arm while telling them: ‘f*** your mum, all four of you.’
‘Thank you all for sucking my d***.’
He also called a female officer a ‘fat s*** ganga’ in the video.
Youssef was charged with offensive language and fined $500 over the tirade.

Police raided his home several days after the tirade, where they allegedly seized 139 grams of cannabis.
Youssef later escaped conviction on the drug charges.
Following his acquittal, Youssef posted another video to social media showing him swilling beers on the street with his friends.
