Nottingham Forest are in talks to sign Costel Pantilimon from Watford.

The 30-year-old goalkeeper has been on loan at Deportivo La Coruna and has made six appearances this season.

Romania international Pantilimon, who is 6ft 8ins tall, has had previous spells with Sunderland and Manchester City.

Meanwhile, Forest goalkeeping coach Jim Stewart has left the club.

Walker, formerly with Rangers, was appointed by previous boss Mark Warburton.

Forest are also signing defender Tobias Figuieredo from Sporting Lisbon on loan.

The City Ground outfit are currently 14th in the Championship table.
