Conspiracy theorists have filmed themselves harassing NSW election officials accusing them of voting fraud.

Several videos are circulating on social media showing the conspiracy theorists pestering the NSW Electoral Commission workers across the state.

The officials are ambushed while they attempt to transport sealed boxes of filled-out pre-poll ballot votes as part of proper procedure.

One of the incidents sparked a police response with officers forced to watch over a polling station to stop election officials from being harassed.

One video showed a conspiracy theorist confront two officials at a polling station in Shellharbour, on the NSW south coast.

The election officials are seen loading the boxes of ballot papers in the back of a car before they are ambushed by the conspiracy theorist.

‘Do you mind if I just ask where you’re taking those?’ he said.

One of the officials asks him to stop filming while his peer tries to put his hand over the camera.

The conspiracy theorist continues to film claiming they have been ‘caught’ before demanding their names.

‘Yous wouldn’t be carrying on like this, if you weren’t in the wrong,’ he said.

Another video showed a conspiracy theorist harassing an election official at the Church of Christ in East Maitland in the Lower Hunter Valley in NSW, on Wednesday.

An election official is seen carrying a box of ballot papers to his car when he is interrupted by the woman.

‘Why are you taking ballot papers away?’ she asked. ‘That is illegal. This is nice and dicey isn’t it.’

The conspiracy theorist follows the election official to his car when she is joined by another person.

‘It’s another rigged election is it?’ he said.

The election official asks the woman to stop filming and covers his name badge as the woman demands to know his name.

His colleague tries to explain the process of vote counting when he is cut short by the woman.

‘It does not work like this,’ the woman said. ‘You do not take them. I’m not wrong. How corrupt is this!’

The incident is understood to have been reported to police with officers sent to the polling station to keep watch on Friday.

A third video shows an election official confronted in Blacktown, western Sydney.

Another video showed an election official completing internal administrative paperwork at a voting centre.

A conspiracy theorist posted a video on Twitter of the official using a rubber on a sheet of paper before falsely accusing him of something more sinister.

‘Insane scenes, check out the Official caught rubbing out and then what looks like editing someones Vote,’ they wrote.

The NSW Electoral Commission was forced to respond with a statement calling out the claim as disinformation.

‘This is not a ballot paper. This official was filmed without permission working at an early voting centre completing internal administrative paperwork,’ it read.
