A NYPD cop and an armed 16-year-old were both shot when teen’s gun fired during a fight in the Bronx on Tuesday night.

The officer approached the teen at about 9:30 p.m when he saw that he was armed, police sources said.

The unidentified cop was shot in the left shin and the 16-year-old was shot in the foot, sources said.

‘I am just frustrated with this. It is unacceptable to be in possession of a gun in the city of New York.’ said NYC Mayor Eric Adams.
