OJ Simpson: Kris Jenner ‘brushed’ off Nicoles cry for help

Before she was murdered, Nicole Brown Simpson made a frantic cry for help to Kris Jenner.

Speaking to the Kyle and Jackie O Show on Tuesday, Kris’ ex-spouse Caitlyn Jenner (formerly Bruce) revealed the chilling details of the conversation – and how she ‘knew’ OJ Simpson was guilty.

In the weeks before her death, Nicole told Kris: ‘He says he’s going to kill me and get away with it because he’s OJ Simpson.’

Kris has been open about the guilt she felt following her best friend Nicole’s murder in 1994, but details regarding their conversations have remained scarce.

Caitlyn’s revelation came during a listener call-in section on the popular Australian breakfast radio show.

‘When you were with Kris, did you ever discuss the OJ Simpson case?’ hosts Kyle and Jackie asked.

Caitlyn’s frank and honest response left the studio shocked.

‘Actually we pretty much knew he was guilty, right from the beginning, but the whole thing was: “Is he going to get away with it?”‘ she replied.

After hearing Nicole tell her she feared for her life, Caitlyn said Kris ‘brushed it off’  -and has struggled with guilt ever since.

‘You know, at the time, she brushed it off and was like [acts out Kris trying to keep Nicole calm] “come on, please, please, please,”‘ she said.

‘But unfortunately, it was right.’

Caitlyn then spoke of how they felt when they found out OJ had been found not guilty.

‘We were in [prosecutor] Marcia Clarke’s office at the court house when the verdict came down…’ she began.

'We knew': 'Actually we pretty much knew he was guilty, right from the beginning, but the whole thing was: "Is he going to get away with it?"' she replied

‘… Kris turned around and looked at me and says: “You know, we should have listened to Nicole, she was right from the beginning.’

Audibly unsettled, Caitlyn added: ‘That whole thing is just so, so sad.’

After being found not guilty, OJ Simpson lived as a free man for 14 years, before he was sentenced to 33 years in prison for an armed robbery that occurred in 2007.

'We should have listened': Caitlyn recalled what happened after she and Kris learnt OJ had been found not guilty of murdering his wife by a jury: 'Kris turned around and looked at me and says "you know, we should have listened to Nicole, she was right from the beginning"'

However, after serving nine years, OJ was granted parole in October this year – at the earliest possible date of eligibility.

‘He got away with it to some extent,’ Caitlyn said on Tuesday, ‘you know, his life has been ruined – which is good.’

‘[Lacking confidence] I don’t think he is a threat to society [anymore]. I don’t know. Who knows?’

She concluded: ‘I’ve never ever talked to him, nor do I want to.’
