Online estate agent easyProperty has raised £800,000 from investors including Sir Stelios Haji-Ioannou.
The company, which operates under licence from the easyJet founder, will use the cash to invest in IT improvements and to prepare for a post-pandemic growth push.

EasyProperty operates in 34 ‘territories’, but its chief executive, David Brierley, said he aimed to quadruple that by the end of the year Property sellers can pay an upfront fee of £795, or 1 per cent commission, or split it between an upfront and completion payment. Sales are managed by agents who pay £175 a month per ‘territory’.
Brierley said of potential agents: ‘People are looking for something different from their careers as we emerge from the pandemic. We can train them, support them, give them all the tools they need to do the job and away they go.
‘There’s no question the brand opens doors. People know the logo and they seem to like what it stands for.’
Haji-Ioannou, who contributed £300,000 to the fundraising on Seedr, said: ‘It offers local expertise and low-cost professionalism to take the hassle and expense out of moving.’
