OpenTable reveals the 100 most scenic restaurants in the US

Like a beautiful view with your dinner? Better head to California, Florida, or New York.

OpenTable has revealed its list of the 100 most scenic restaurants in the US, with eateries across 25 different states — but those three have the highest number of gorgeous places to grab a bite.

The reservations app says the list was compiled from data from its 12 million users, narrowing it down to popular, well-reviewed restaurants where diners say the ‘scenic views’ are to die for.

Here, FEMAIL highlights 15 of the top picks, in no particular order.

Nature at its best, the restaurant’s view is notably different based on the season, making it worth checking out more than once.

The hotel is also hosting to another restaurant to pop up on the list, The Sunset Terrace, which naturally has similar views.

Interestingly, the other two New Jersey restaurants to make the list aren’t New York-adjacent. There’s the Peter Shields Inn in Cape May, and Rats Restaurant at Grounds for Sculpture in Hamilton.

It’s the only Chicago restaurant to earn a spot on the list. ‘We’re pretty proud of our views of the river and downtown, and apparently, Open Table users agree,’ the steakhouse said of landing on this list.

Among the other 12 on the list include The Turtle Club and The Bay House in Naples, The Boathouse in Lake Buena Vista, The Grand Marlin of Pensacola Beach in Pensacola, Latitudes on Sunset Key in Key West, and Ophelia’s on the Bay in Sarasota.

‘We know a memorable meal is as much about the ambiance as it is about the food,’ said Caroline Potter, OpenTable’s Chief Dining Officer, of the 100 restaurants on the list.

This Phoenix eatery is literally named for its view and has outdoor seating to really make the most of it.

Other Arizona restaurants on the list include Vivace Restaurant in Tucson and Mariposa in Sedona.

Las Vegas has plenty of spots to sit and people-watch, but the restaurant at the Eiffel Tower is one of the most iconic of the bunch.

Diners can enjoy French food while checking out the Fountains of Bellagio — but according to OpenTable, guests need to make a 4:30 reservation to guarantee a window view for the night.

There are two other Vegas restaurants on the list: Mon Ami Gabi, and Top of the World Restaurant at the Stratosphere Hotel.

Interestingly it’s Fort Lauderdale that racked up the most Florida mentions on this list, including Boatyard, Kaluz Restaurant, and Naples Blue Moon Fish Co.
