Portia Odube showed off her postpartum figure in lingerie as she urged new mothers not to feel any pressure to ‘snap back’ into shape.
The TV researcher took to Instagram on Monday just three days after giving birth to daughter Genie to make a powerful statement.
Cradling her newborn while clad in a nursing bra, the new mother posed front on and to the side in the snaps, which she captioned: ‘It takes 9 months to grow a baby, so don’t expect your body to ‘”snap back”‘.’

Genie is Portia’s second child with husband Ore, as the pair are parents to son Roman, three.
Roman met his sibling over the weekend, and Ore admitted he couldn’t control his tears after seeing his two children together.
In a sweet post on Monday, he penned: ‘So overwhelmed… this weekend has been A LOT!!! When Ro met his baby sister I think I wept enough to flood the house and your msgs have just made us melt. Thank you.
‘But this one is for Ro and Genie’s mummy…. you are our hero, we love you SO much @portiajett’.

Portia and Ore, who have been married since 2015, announced their new arrival on Instagram on Friday, with Ore penning: ‘Been dreaming about you… Welcome, Genie our perfect little girl @portiajett (15/10/21)’.
Meanwhile Portia announced the news by writing: Our baby girl… [sic] You’ve completed us Genie Oduba..’
The family-of-four have settled right back into their routine, with Portia taking to her Stories to share a video of herself breastfeeding while sat down for dinner with her brood.

‘Ore has taken Ro to school this morning… and I’m thoroughly enjoying a coffee in bed before Genie wakes up!’
The couple announced the news they were expecting to Hello! magazine in May this year to mark the 10th anniversary of their first date.

He said: ‘We’re thrilled. I never thought I was going to find the person I wanted to spend the rest of my life with so when I think that 10 years on from our first date, we’ve got one amazing little boy and another baby on the way, I get quite emotional.
‘This is the life I’ve always dreamt of.’
Portia and Ore first set eyes on each other in 2010, with the pair meeting at Loughborough University where Ore studied.
He proposed to her four years later and they married the following year, with the wedding taking place at Penshurst Place in Kent in November 2015.
