Outnumbered star Ramona Marquez looks unrecognisable in new social media snaps – 15 years after the BBC comedy show first debuted in 2007.

The former child star, who turns 21 next month was just six years old when she made her name playing angelic Karen Brockman on the hit sitcom.

Snaps shared on her Instagram page show her looking very grown-up compared to the adorable, cheeky, curly-haired kid Outnumbered fans are familiar with.

Ramona is now heavily tattooed and a Spanish and Mandarin student at the University of Manchester.

The actress has undergone a complete transformation, sporting a cute red bob haircut and blunt fringe.

Embracing her identity, the actress can be seen experimenting with some adventurous looks on her social media.

A world away from her angel-faced character, Ramona now thrives in an abundance of confidence as she regularly keeps her 113,000 followers up to date with her everyday life.

Ramona rose to fame alongside her former on-screen brothers Daniel Roche, now 20, who portrayed Ben, and Tyger Drew-Honey, now 24, who played oldest sibling Jake.

The young adults played siblings on Outnumbered from 2007 till 2014.

Seen together in 2019, the trio looked unrecognisable in photographs from a day they spent together in July that year.

Outnumbered was watched by 9.4 million viewers at its peak and ran for five series between 2007 and 2014, with a one-off Christmas special in 2016.

The show centred on a middle-class family living in West London, whose two parents, teacher Pete (Hugh Dennis) and personal assistant Sue (Claire Skinner) struggled to balance their careers with their unruly children.

In 2018, on-screen parents Hug and Claire shocked fans as they revealed they’ve been dating for over a year following the breakdown of their marriages.

Opening up about their romance to The Mail On Sunday, the pair spoke about of their real-life happiness after it emerged that they have been in a relationship since last year.

Comedian Hugh confirmed the romance, saying he was ‘very happy’ after finding love with Clockwork Mice star Claire.

‘I am very, very happy, we are so very happy. It’s nice and yes, it’s so lovely,’ he said at the time.
