With over 200,000 people downloading the Love Island app so they can vote on the show, Channel Nine programming chief Hamish Turner declared season one to be an ‘unprecedented’ success.

Signs are also promising for more content featuring tanned contestants with perfect hair.

Hamish told The Daily Telegraph that talks for season two of Love Island Australia are underway, though nothing has been confirmed.

Tayla told Daily Mail Australia of her relationship with Grant: ‘It is pretty fast, but our relationship has been pretty fast-tracked. One day in that (Love Island) villa feels like weeks. ‘

The couple claim they’re both ready to continue working on their careers, and believe Sydney will be the perfect place to establish themselves.

Tayla stated: ‘I’ve got a journalism and broadcasting degree, so I really want to get back into work and presenting and get back into modelling.’

Grant is also quite entrepreneurial, saying: ‘I’ve got my own clothing brand and I’m also an electrician.’
