Oxford 0-2 Crystal Palace: Second-half goals from Odsonne Édouard and Luka Milivojević sees Patrick Vieira’s Eagles past League One side Oxford United in Carabao Cup

  • Odsonne Édouard opened the scoring for Crystal Palace in the 71st minute
  •  Luka Milivojević converts late penalty to make sure of result against Oxford
  • Palace had found it difficult to break down League One side during first-half
  • Patrick Vieira’s side will find out third round opponents tomorrow night 

Odsonne Édouard’s second half strike saved Crystal Palace any blushes as his goal was enough to see them past a stubborn Oxford United.

The Carabao Cup second round tie between the two sides was causing Palace some issues as they struggled to break down the League One side at the Kassam Stadium. 

That was until the 71st minute substitute Jeffrey Schlupp played in Édouard, who then slotted past Edward McGinty to put Palace in control, the game was then wrapped up as Luka Milivojević fired home from the spot in the 88th minute.
