The Paranoid singer’s reality check appeared to be his 2016 split from Sharon, which came on the heels of reports that he had had an affair with his hairstylist, Michelle Pugh.

The two split in May of that year, but Sharon revealed in July on her series The Talk that she had forgiven him.

She said their split had ‘been very hard,’ but she downplayed it by calling him ‘a romantic fool.’

‘He’s very embarrassed and ashamed about his conduct,’ she said, before adding that she had forgiven him.

‘It’s going take a long time to trust, but we’ve been together 36 years, 34 of marriage… I just can’t think of my life without him.’

In 2017, Sharon shared more information about Ozzy’s dalliances in an interview with The Telegraph, including her claim that he had slept with more women than just his hairdresser prior to their separation.

‘There wasn’t just one woman; there were six of them.

‘Some f**king Russian teenager… then a masseuse in England… our masseuse out here [in LA]… and then our cook.

‘Basically, if you’re a woman giving Ozzy either a back rub or a trolley of food, God help you,’ she added on a lighter note.

The TV host also revealed that she found out about the affair when Ozzy accidentally sent her an email intended for one of his paramours.

Ozzy has been married to Sharon since 1982, and they share three children: Kelly, 36, Jack, 35, and Aimee, 37, who avoided much of the limelight by opting not to appear in the family’s reality series.

The singer also has three older children from his first marriage to Thelma Riley from 1971–1982, including Jessica Osbourne, 48, and Louis Osbourne, 48.

He also adopted his wife’s son Elliot Kingsley, 54.

Elsewhere in his GQ interview, Ozzy complained about the price his family paid for filming four seasons of The Osbournes for MTV.

‘After three years of filming it the kids were all on drugs, Sharon was battling cancer and so I said to the family, “Do you want to carry on?” and they said, “No,” so we pulled it,’ he explained.

When asked if he blamed the series for his children’s drug problems, the singer suggested others may have wanted to introduce them to illicit substances due to their fame.

‘They were kids getting led into bars and clubs and getting pills and whatever. By the end Jack was trying to get sober. I was trying to get sober,’ he admitted.
