A young P-plater has miraculously survived after she was run off the road by an alleged stolen vehicle on Christmas morning.

Ebony Rich, 18, was driving south of the Sunshine Coast about 9.20am when a maroon Subaru Impreza hit the back of her car.

The impact made Ms Rich’s Suzuki Swift flip multiple times, crash into a tree and land in a ditch.

Ebony Rich, 18, was left pinned upside-down in her car with lacerations to her head after being rammed off the road by a driver in an alleged stolen car

The driver of the Subaru Impreza, which had false registration plates, fled the scene, leaving Ms Rich pinned upside down in her car on Beerburrum Rd.

The teenager sustained non-life threatening injuries and was taken to Sunshine Coast University Hospital where she is being treated for cuts to her head and bruising from her seatbelt.

A Queensland Police Service spokeswoman said a driver who witnessed the crash stopped and cut Ms Rich from the wreckage before carrying her to safety.

Ms Rich posted a photo of her blood soaked face and crumpled car on Facebook in an appeal to find the ‘scum’ driving the other vehicle.

‘My life flashed before my eyes today,’ she wrote hours after the crash.

‘An ignorant human going excessively over the limit in an 80km zone, purposely ran into the back of my car causing me to flip multiple times onto the other side of the road to and hit a massive tree.’

‘I am beyond grateful for the amazing and thoughtful humans that saved my life today.

‘It goes to show that you may be the safest driver on the road, but that doesn’t mean everyone else will be.’

A Queensland Police spokesman said police have located the car and investigations into the driver continue.
