PAC targets politicians it says act against women’s interest
The Stanford law professor who led the successful recall of a California judge over his handling of a sexual assault case is now broadening her fight by targeting politicians.
Professor Michele Dauber on Monday announced a new political action committee, the Enough is Enough Voter Project.
It will target candidates for state legislature or Congress who have been accused of sexual misconduct or who the group believes have a poor voting record on issues related to sexual harassment and violence against women.
The PAC is raising money to target a handful of candidates in this year’s midterms, all Republicans.
Some of its targets this year say the PAC is being hypocritical by not going after any Democrats who have been accused of sexual misconduct.
