Pamela Anderson has never seen the famous sex tape she made with Tommy Lee which was stolen then sold worldwide.
In a preview for an interview with CBS Sunday Morning’s Jim Axelrod, 55-year-old Anderson said that it was so ‘hurtful’ that someone would take their private tape that she never had the courage to look at it.
‘And I’ve not seen it to this day,’ said Anderson. ‘It was very hurtful.’
The Playboy model is promoting her upcoming memoir Love, Pamela and a new Netflix documentary Pamela, a love story.

Anderson said the tape – which she calls ‘stolen property’ – showed ‘two crazy naked people in love.’
She made the tape with drummer Lee, who is now 60, during a 1995 vacation to Lake Mead, a reservoir formed by the Hoover Dam on the Colorado River in the Southwestern United States.
‘I mean, we were naked all the time and filming each other and being silly, but those tapes were not meant for anybody else to see,’ the Barb Wire actress added.
She was so hurt over the tape being leaked she hinted she would have taken her life if she had not been a mom.

‘I was a mother. That saved me,’ Anderson said. Her two children are sons Brandon, now 26, and Dylan, now 25,’ she has with rocker Lee.
‘You know, if I wasn’t a mom, I don’t think I would’ve survived,’ she added.
These days she is happy living on Vancouver Island in British Columbia, Canada.
‘I feel like I’ve left here, did something crazy and came back in one piece,’ Anderson said in the interview with CBS. ‘Like I said, I don’t know what I’m capable of. I still don’t know, but I think that was the beginning … all the rest of it, it’s, you know, behind me. I feel like I’m in a really good place.’

Anderson’s interview with Jim Axelrod for CBS Sunday Morning will air Sunday at 9 a.m. ET on CBS. It will also stream on Paramount+.
Pamela, a love story premieres January 31 on Netflix.

Pamela also acknowledges she’s been partially responsible for some of the negative things that she’s been through in her life.
She says: ‘I didn’t feel like I had a lot of respect. I had to make a career out of the pieces left, but I’m not the damsel in distress. I put myself in crazy situations and survived them.’
In 2022, Lily James played Pamela in the biographical series Pam & Tommy.

The 33-year-old actress subsequently admitted that she was looking forward to watching Pamela’s Netflix documentary.
She said: ‘I can’t wait to watch Pamela’s documentary and learn more.
‘Of course we could only do our best based on the information we had, so for her to be able to tell her story is so important. I’ll be watching along with the rest of the world. I’m eager to see what she says and hear what it’s all about.’
The brunette beauty underwent a dramatic transformation in order to play Pamela in the TV series.
