Pamela Anderson’s sons Brandon and Dylan rip Hulu miniseries and say her career sank after sex tape

Pamela Anderson’s adult sons Brandon Thomas Lee and Dylan Jagger Lee have spoken out on a number of topics involving their mother’s career as they help her promote a pair of new projects: her book Love, Pamela and a Netflix documentary titled Pamela: A Love Story.

Among the controversial issues Brandon, 26, and Dylan, 25 – Pamela’s two sons with Mötley Crüe drummer Tommy Lee, 60 – have voiced their opinion over the 2022 Hulu miniseries Pam & Tommy, the impact her late 90s sex tape had on her career, and how they felt she was not properly compensated amid her popularity with Baywatch and other endeavors.

In the documentary, Dylan said he felt Pam & Tommy, which was created by Robert Siegel and starred Lily James, Sebastian Stan and Seth Rogen – was done in bad taste and poorly put together from a storytelling perspective.

The latest: Pamela Anderson’s adult sons Brandon Thomas Lee, 26, and Dylan Jagger Lee, 25, have spoken out on a number of topics involving their mother’s career as they help her promote a pair of new projects: her book Love, Pamela and a Netflix documentary titled Pamela: A Love Story. ‘Why bring something up from 20 years ago that you know f***ed someone up?’ Dylan said. ‘The worst part of her life and making a semi-comedy out of it didn’t make sense.’

In the documentary Brandon – who made headlines in 2018 amid a fight with his father – said that he wished his mother, 55, had ‘made the money’ by agreeing to license the tape.

‘She would’ve made millions of dollars if she just would have signed a piece of paper,’ Brandon said. ‘Instead, she sat back with nothing and watched her career fizzle into thin air. She was in debt most of her life.’

Dylan said he thinks her life and career would have been on a different trajectory ‘if she did cash in on the tape.’

He added, ‘It just shows you, right? Like, that thing guaranteed made people millions of dollars, and she was like, “No.” She 100 percent cares about her family being OK and me being OK. Never cared about money.’

Speaking with Extra, Brandon said his mother was criminally underpaid during her time on Baywatch from 1992-1997.

‘When I go back and I even look at past deals and residual checks people would be shocked to find out how people really took advantage of her … a young girl making a bad deal on a big show and she was the biggest star at the time,’ he said.

He continued: ‘A lot of people made a lot of money off that, people are going to have to have their day when we come knocking … when she makes $4,000 a year off of Baywatch? That’s a crime.’

Brandon told E! News he had ‘no idea’ if his father had gotten to see the doc.

Dylan said in the doc of his mom’s multiple marriages, ‘She loves getting married. Maybe it’s her favorite thing in the world, falling in love.’

He said that Lee was the ‘only person [he] looked at as a father figure’ and that ‘the other ones were just people who came in and came out.’

Both Brandon and Dylan are featured in the documentary, and Brandon was a producer on it.

Anderson told People at the Los Angeles premiere of the doc that both of her sons were ‘a little emotional’ when they watched the finished product.

‘Brandon’s seen a ton of it,’ Anderson said. ‘He’s been doing this for two years, so this has been a long process and as a mom, you never want to burden your kids. But this has kind of been a fun family project, but it had a lot of emotion tied to it.’

Both the book Love, Pamela and Netflix doc Pamela: A Love Story are out now.
