Parent Trap stars Elaine Hendrix and Lisa Ann Walter reunite to recreate iconic scene 23 years on

Elaine Hendrix and Lisa Ann Walter delighted Parent Trap fans Thursday when they recreated an iconic scene from the 1998 movie.

The former co-stars met up and recorded a 16-seconds-long TikTok that Hendrix later shared to Instagram.

‘Ring, Ring w/ Lisa Ann Walter,’ the blonde moviestar, 50, captioned the post, adding two bell emojis and hashtagging ‘the parent trap,’ ‘meredithblake,’ and ‘chessy.’ 

The Dynasty star wore a short sleeve white v-neck t-shirt, finely-striped pants, and white sneakers for the unofficial role revival. 

Her redhead counterpart, 58, sported baby blue leggings, a grey T-shirt, and a halfway-zipped white hooded sweatshirt.

In the movie, twins separated at birth — played by a preteen Lindsay Lohan — reunite at a summer camp. They’re later introduced to their dad’s (Dennis Quaid) younger fiancé Meredith Blake, Elaine’s character.

Walter portrays the couple’s housekeeper, Chessy. The scene the two industry vets recreated shows a demanding Meredith ringing a bell to get the housemaid’s attention.

The Nancy Meyers-directed 1998 version is a remake of the original 1961 project of the same name.

July marked the 23rd anniversary of the box office hit. 

Last year the cast reunited virtually via Katie Couric’s Instagram. The reunion was for a good cause, as it raised funds for José Andrés’ non-profit organization, World Central Kitchen. 

The Romy and Michele’s High School Reunion star often calls back to the late nineties movie, sharing screenshots from the film on social media now and then and referencing her memorable character.
