One happy couple captured the tear-jerking reactions of their family and friends as they shared the news that they would be adopting four siblings from Eastern Europe.
Tammy Waltz, 31, and her husband Drew hosted four siblings – three brothers ages 8, 9, and 11, and their 13-year-old sister – at their North Carolina home through Open Hearts and Homes for Children last Christmas.

‘Hi guys! Love you, miss you! come back to the US soon,’ the first friend of the couple says to the camera.
Tammy then tells him to ‘say you’re so excited that they’re getting adopted’.
‘I’m so excited…’ the man trails off before realizing his friend was sharing the news of their adoption with him.
‘Shut up!’ he yells in disbelief. ‘Are you serious?’ he asks before the video cuts to the children’s new great-grandmother Mags.
‘You’re going to be a great-grandma times four. We’re adopting,’ Tammy tells Mags as she holds her hand over her heart and begins to cry tears of joy.
‘Oh, thank you Jesus,’ Mags is able to mutter through her tears as Tammy gives her a huge hug.

‘We love adoption. And there’s nothing like a child finding somewhere to belong,’ Tammy told DailyMail.com, adding that adoption is one of their passions.

Tammy said her husband wanted to adopt as a single man and she had the same desire as a single woman when they first met.
‘Our passion is orphans,’ Tammy said, adding that there was some initial hesitation about adopting the adorable children.
But as they got to know the kids over five weeks when they hosted them in their Charlotte home, they knew they had met their future family.

‘We spent five weeks during Christmas of 2016 learning their personalities and falling in love with their individuality and their bond with each other,’ the pair wrote on LifeSong.
‘After seeing the kids off at the airport as they headed back to Eastern Europe, we instantly noticed how quiet our lives were once again.
‘We found ourselves missing the sounds of giggling, broken English, and remote control cars racing through the house. These sounds filled our home with so much life for those few weeks,’ they added.
The Waltzes are now waiting for a court date to finalize the adoption, but they are hoping to have them home in the next few months.
‘I’m praying for Christmas, but it may be next year,’ Tammy said.
