Paris Hilton rocks mesh dress as she tells Jenny McCarthy how she makes $1million for per DJ set

‘It’s worth the investment for them’: Paris Hilton tells Jenny McCarthy why she’s worth up to $1m for a single DJ set

Paris Hilton’s net worth is reportedly more than $300million, thanks in large part to the Hilton family fortune, endorsements and a plethora of business ventures.

And it turns out the celebutante also brings in big bucks from one of her more recent career endeavors: DJing at some of the hottest spots around the world.

‘[I get paid] anywhere from a couple hundred grand up to a million…to play a 90 minute set,’ Paris revealed during an appearance on SiriusXM’s The Jenny McCarthy Show on Wednesday.

Upon hearing her massive salary for one gig, McCarthy quickly shot back with enthusiasm: ‘I want to be you. That’s f****** amazing.’

The 37-year old star then went on to justify why she should be among the highest paid disc jockeys.

‘I add more to a party than just DJing. Like I DJ and I also go entertain all the guests. I’ll take selfies with everyone.’

She added: ‘I will really promote the hell out of whatever venue it is and make up the hottest spot in whatever country I’m in. So, it’s worth the investment for them.’

Hilton entered the world of music as a singer in 2006, with the release of her self-titled album Paris. It reached number six on the Billboard 200 with the help of her single Stars Are Blind.

Keeping with her passion for music and beats, she turned to DJing in 2012 and made a splash at a Brazilian pop festival.

‘I just walk in, and as soon as I walk in everyone is screaming,’ she said to McCarthy with a gleam in her eyes.

‘Then I just play the sickest sets. And I get up on the DJ booth and start singing and people just go nuts.’

The Simple Life star didn’t just walk into the new career blindly.

She maintains she ‘studied for six months, for six hours a day with the best trainers in the business and learned every single thing that there is to know.’

Back in 2014, Hilton told the New York Post that she was paid $2.7 million for a four-night residency in Ibiza.

She reportedly earns over $10 million a year from business ventures.
