A Paris nightclub has caused a stir by running a drinks promotion in which they gave away free shots to women willing to show bar staff their breasts.

Wanderlust in the French capital was outed by self-proclaimed feminists called Anne who spotted a poster behind the bar titled, ‘T*ts = shot’, accompanied by instant camera photographs of women pulling up their shirts to bare their boobs.

She shared the snap on social media which prompted dozens of critics to slam the bar for what they dubbed a sexist stunt.

The caption read: ‘So the barmen are offering a free shot to girls on the condition that they show their breasts.’

She then went on to say: ‘The fact that girls would go along with the offer, probably when very drunk, and the fact that the bar’s employees had taken the photos and shown them in the public, possibly “illegally”.’

It comes just days after another fashionable spot on the French Riviera got embroiled in a separate row over its pricing policy that rewarded girls in short skirts with free drinks.

Another Twitter user under the name Bismatoj said: ‘A woman’s body is not money.’

Management at the club in the 13th arrondissement in Paris is claiming it was completely ignorant to the posters and that the staff had taken it upon themselves to put the poster up.

In a statement on their social media pages, they said they ‘firmly’ condemned the move, adding: ‘We were not aware of this sign.

‘The photos will be removed immediately and we will look into punishing those responsible,’ according to The Local.
