Parkland survivors set to reveal big announcement

Survivors of the Stoneman Douglas High School shooting said they will make a big announcement early Monday, but did not disclose details on what it would entail.

The excited teens took to their social media pages throughout the day Sunday to eagerly share the news.

‘Super big Announcement tomorrow 😉 prepare urselves y’all,’ March For Our Lives leader Emma Gonzalez wrote to her Twitter page.

Another shooting survivor, David Hogg, also said: ‘Ok I’m off Twitter until after our big announcement tomorrow.’

Founder of March For Our Lives, Cameron Kasky, shared a post that read: ‘800 marches were just the beginning, below the photo caption: ‘Tomorrow.’

The highly-anticipated news comes nearly four months after the Valentine’s Day massacre that claimed the lives of 17 at the Florida high school.

The Miami Herald reports from an email statement that students will be speaking about ‘the next phase of their movement.’

The teens will make the announcement at 10am during a conference held at the Parkland Amphitheater on 10561 Trails End.
