Many of the trolling men took issue with the former caddie’s presence and her roughly $3000 Versace jacket, with them dubbing the 32-year-old as ‘Cersei Lannister.

‘Justine Reed as Cersei Lannister. I’m dying over here,’ said one user.

Another added: ‘Justine Reed showing up in that Cersei Lannister jacket was the most intimidating thing in the world. Also she has Patrick on an invisible leash.’

Another user stated that Justine looked like Floyd Mayweather in her jacket.

‘I’ve never disliked someone that I’ve never met more than Justine Reed,’ a different man said.

One user stated: ‘Can’t imagine what she’s got planned for the rest of the week.’

Several others took issue with the mother-of-two taking notes on a notepad while her husband readied for his practice round.

‘Justine reed currently taking notes standing behind Patrick reed during his practice round for the PGA Championship…,’ noted Zack Luce.

John Kubisa asked: ‘Clipboard and all. Who is running this show?’

‘Justine Reed didn’t come here to sit back and watch. #BusinessTrip,’ asserted Dan Kilbridge.

‘It’s a running joke that Justine Reed is basically Patrick’s coach and this picture has all that including the most extra jacket ever worn on a golf course,’ claimed Zach Cummings.

Ryan Ballengee said: ‘Justine Reed is now tending pins for Patrick during the practice rounds, and soon enough she’ll be the president of the PGA.’

Various folk blasted the fierce criticism being thrown at Justine for being present and wearing the coat.

Justine’s career journey has seen her as a registered nurse before she served as Patrick’s caddie up until the birth of their first child in 2014. She has often been hands on with her support for her husband and was helpful in him winning The Barclays in 2016.

The two have been married since 2012.

‘I’m the first one to jump on this bus typically. BUT she was on the bag for him when he won there in 2016. Just saying,’ said Kevin Dut.

Paige Spiranac asked: ‘Honestly, don’t we all want our significant other to be that supportive?’

The sentiment was shared by a user who called out the sexism behind the trolling.

‘I know it’s on trend to make fun of the Reed’ but she did loop for him as he played himself on to the tour,’ they said. ‘If this was someone’s Dad or Brother helping out no one would even notice it.’

A lot of the frustration surrounding Justine Reed also stems from the belief that she was instrumental in getting her husband’s family removed from the U.S. Open at Pinehurst in 2014, according to Golf.

Reed’s family showed up to the 2018 Masters Tournament but he golfer asserted that he would have had them removed if he’d known.

Still, his mother posted a photo showing her husband and daughter supporting Reed as he golfed.
