Earlier last week he was seen with old friend Shane Jacobson filming scenes in the same location.

And although Paul has previously claimed his comeback movie won’t be a Crocodile Dundee film, pal Shane was seen wearing a Dundee-inspired costume.

While on set, the stars were seen sharing a lot of laughs between takes.

The full cast has yet to be revealed, and Shane’s role in the film is unknown.

It’s been more than 30 years since Paul, 78, first appeared in the iconic Crocodile Dundee movie in 1986.

He has insisted the upcoming feature release will be a comedy, where he will play himself in the semi-fictional tale that documents the lead up to receiving a Knighthood for services to comedy.

While currently in Melbourne, Paul will also shoot in Vancouver and Los Angeles for the blockbuster.
