Paul Hollywood’s Great British Bake Off co-stars predicted age-gap romance with Summer Monteys-Fulham would end… MONTHS before she ‘dumped him over gagging order’
Paul Hollywood’s Great British Bake Off colleagues ‘predicted his latest romance with Summer Monteys-Fulham would come to an early end’, months before their split.
The 54-year old was ‘dumped’ by former barmaid Monteys-Fulham, 24, after he reportedly asked her to sign a gagging order preventing her from disclosing any personal details about their relationship.
The split brings an end to their two-year romance, with Hollywood’s former lover moving out of his £1million mansion amid claim of ‘controlling behaviour.’
All bets are off: Paul Hollywood’s Great British Bake Off colleagues ‘predicted his latest romance with Summer Monteys-Fulham would come to an early end’, months before they split.
But co-stars and producers on his Channel 4 show were said to be convinced that their relationship would break down, with one allegedly considering a sweepstake with bets placed on how long it would last.
A source told The Sun: ‘Everyone could see this coming a mile off – except Paul. It’s embarrassing for him. His colleagues have said for a while that his relationship with Summer was doomed.’
A separate source claimed the collapse of their relationship, Hollywood’s first since separating with wife of 21-years Alexandra in 2017, came as no surprise.
Finsihed: The 54-year old was dumped by former barmaid Monteys-Fulham, 24, after he reportedly asked her to sign a gagging order preventing her from disclosing any personal details about their relationship
Stepping out: The pair emerged this weekend, shortly after their split became public knowledge
‘We’ve seen Paul do this before. It was totally predictable but he’s not someone who takes advice readily on these things, so people just watch from the sidelines and roll their eyes.’
Monteys-Fulham, who is 29 years younger than Paul, has moved out of his property and is said to be left furious over his ‘controlling behavior’, according to reports.
The non-disclosure agreement (NDA) would reportedly have stopped her from discussing personal details of their relationship, including their sex lives and his wealth, with her family and friends.
The Bake Off judge reportedly ‘hit the roof’ after she refused to sign the NDA and ‘blocked her on social media’.
Awkward: Co-stars and producers on his Channel 4 show were said to be convinced that their relationship would break down, with one allegedly considering a sweepstake
A source told The Sun at the time: ‘Paul was really angry when she told him it was over. He clearly did not see it coming. She said she had been building towards this and that there was no future for them.’
Monteys-Fulham is said to have moved her belongings out of the home they shared and into her mum’s house in nearby Ickham, Kent, according to the publication.
A clause in the NDA, seen by the publication, read: ‘Neither PH nor SMF will reveal or disclose to any third party the fact and/or existence of this Deed and/or its terms and/or anything disclosed . . . ‘.
All over: Hollywood split with wife of 21-years Alexandra in 2017
Last week, a judge granted the Hollywood and his estranged wife a decree nisi after their split. But the decree absolute to end the marriage altogether will have to await a financial settlement.
It is understood that Alex wants half of the star’s cash after she accused him of ‘adultery’ in papers submitted to the Central Family Court in London.
A source close to the family said: ‘This is more like months rather than weeks off now, Paul isn’t prepared to give Alex the reasonable sum that she is entitled to at this stage.
‘She had hoped it would be straightforward but it is now far from that. It’s really sad that it is getting this nasty, everyone wants to move on now – nobody more than Summer.’
