Paulina Porizkova, 56, poses for ‘full frontal nude’ cover of Vogue

Supermodel Paulina Porizkova is proving that she is actually getting better with age while showing off her incredible figure in a ‘full frontal nude’ Vogue cover shoot at the age of 56.

The fashion favorite unveiled her stunning cover for Vogue CS on Instagram on Tuesday morning, revealing a snap of herself modeling a completely sheer black bodysuit – while using two swan emoji two cover up her nipples.

Paulina, who has been incredibly open about the non-surgical lengths she has gone to maintain her figure in her 50s, is seen modeling minimal makeup in the shoot, while her blonde locks are styled in a tousled, undone ‘do.

In her Instagram post, Paulina thanked the ‘brave folks’ at Vogue CS for ‘daring’ to work with her on such a bold shoot, and she noted the personal significance of her latest cover launch coming almost 40 years to the day after she starred on the front of her first issue of Vogue, when she shot for the German edition in 1981.

If you’ve got it… 56-year-old supermodel Paulina Porizkova is flaunting her incredible figure in a ‘full frontal nude’ cover shoot for Vogue CS

‘Exactly 40 years after my very first (German) Vogue cover at the age of sixteen, here is a new one. Full frontal nude, at 56, on Vogue Cz,’ she wrote.

‘I’d really like to thank the brave folks at Vogue CZ… for daring to do this – but most of all the incredible team behind this photo shoot.

‘I can’t wait to share the inside pages as well, this was one of the most fun and playful photos shoots I have done- possibly in my life.’

On Monday, the former Sports Illustrated Swimsuit star gave a sneak peek at the content that will appear inside the pages of the magazine when she shared a behind-the-scenes video from the shoot, in which she is seen playing her piano while modeling a chic velvet robe and a pair of green trousers.

Vogue CS explained in its own Instagram post on Tuesday that the May issue of the publication, on which Paulina features, is ‘dedicated to time’ and the ‘beauty of maturation in every moment of human life’.

‘It is not about anti-age, and we do not want to talk about aging or blindly prefer youth,’ the caption read.

‘We do not perceive time as an enemy but as the only true lifelong companion.’

The magazine noted that this ethos reflects Paulina’s own personal views on time and maturation, adding: ‘[Paulina] has her own specific view on maturation.

‘She does not fight with age, nor is afraid of it. She doesn’t hide anything.’

The supermodel has certainly never shied away from speaking out about how her body and appearance have evolved as she has grown older, and she has also candidly discussed the non-invasive treatments that she has turned to in order to maintain her looks, without going under the knife.

But while many have celebrated her candidness and praised her enviable figure, Paulina has faced backlash from a few online trolls, who branded her ‘desperate’ and ‘sick’ when she chose to share images of herself posing in lingerie last month.

At the time, the mother-of-two posted two stunning photos in which she was seen modeling a black bra, panties, garter belt, and thigh-high stockings while posing in her New York apartment.

After sharing the photos, the comments were flooded with compliments from admirers, with many questioning how she has managed to stay in such great shape over the years.

But, as she revealed in a follow-up post, there were also a fair few haters, who criticized the model for posing in such a daring shoot at the age of 55.

‘Sis. Ur far too desperate for attention. It’s cringeworthy,’ one person commented, while another added: ‘I think ur just easy & wouldn’t blame anyone for not wanting to something used up.’

‘YOU MARRIED A HIDEOUS LOOKING MAN FOR HIS MONEY,’ the Instagram user wrote, disregarding the fact that Paulina made millions of dollars at the height of her modeling career.

Paulina called the commenters ‘bullies’ in her caption, but she insisted that she was more amused than upset by their hateful messages.

In an interview with Tamron Hall earlier this month, she once again hit out at the trolls, questioning why women in their 50s aren’t ‘allowed to be sexy’ – when she was once ‘celebrated’ for posing in lingerie as a young model.

Paulina’s reveal of her Vogue CS cover, which was shot in her apartment in New York City, also comes just days after she marked her 56th birthday, and hours after she opened up about love and dating in her 50s following the death of her estranged husband and ‘soulmate’ Ric Ocasek.

The supermodel admitted to Yahoo Life on Monday that she isn’t sure what she wants in a partner because she’s not the same person she was when she met The Cars frontman as a teen — but she hasn’t ruled out getting married again.

‘I don’t know what I want because my husband was my soulmate for such a long time, and what he provided me at that time is no longer what I need,’ she said. ‘I need something else now because I’m way more fabulous now than I was at 19. I need a guy that can withstand my awesomeness.’

Paulina was only 19 when she met Ric on the set of the music video for The Cars’ hit ‘Drive’ in 1984. They wed five years later after they met, when she was 24 and he was 45. They went on to have two sons, Jonathan and Oliver.

In 2017, Paulina and Ric quietly separated after nearly 30 years of marriage, and she noted that the end of their relationship ‘came as a shock’ to her because she ‘never conceived’ not being married to him. They were planning on getting a divorce when he died in September 2019 at age 75.

‘And now being out there dating again, what I’m realizing is that I’m not very good at it,’ she said. ‘I keep being this weird teenager when it comes to dating because the last time I dated, I was a teenager.’

Paulina stressed that she doesn’t want a man who ‘doesn’t hear’ her and treats her ‘as a beautiful and worthy object,’ saying she’s still not sure how to tell when someone likes her for who she is as a person.

‘One thing that I’ve recognized now, after going out on dates with some men who have normal jobs and are wonderful guys, is that I find talent sexy — and talented men are generally way more complicated than non-talented ones,’ she explained.

‘I know better than to say “never,” but certainly a rock musician is about the last thing on my dating calendar.’

Paulina said her sons Jonathan, 27, and Oliver, 22, have been supportive of her dating, but she noted that she won’t introduce them to anyone unless the relationship is serious.

The Sports Illustrated Swimsuit star also discussed how ‘sex gets better with age,’ which surprised her after hearing ‘horror stories’ about women losing their sex drives after going through menopause.

‘And it turns out that it only gets better because I know my body so much better. Whatever confidence and wisdom that you acquire with age, it’s kind of paying off in your 50s,’ she said.

‘Now I take my pleasure where I know that I had it or where I can. I’m not there to please the guy; I’m there to be pleased.’

The past year and a half following Ric’s death has been incredibly difficult for Paulina. While mourning The Cars frontman, she struggled with depression, anxiety, and rage after learning he had cut her out of his will — leaving her without any money, including her own earnings as a model.

Paulina recently revealed that she was so strapped for cash following the rocker’s death that her friends had to buy her food to live off of.

This past September, she sold the New York City townhouse where she and Ric had lived for more than 30 years for $10 million. She still has her home in upstate New York and now lives in a rental apartment in Manhattan.
