Paulina Porizkova has announced her split from Oscar-winning screenwriter Aaron Sorkin after roughly three months together, saying ‘there truly may be no better man.’
The supermodel, 56, shared the news of their breakup on Instagram Tuesday, posting a photo of her and her now-ex, 60, out for a walk with a broken heart emoji over it.
In the caption, Porizkova gushed about how wonderful Sorkin is, calling him ‘witty’ and ‘sexy.’ She never explicitly revealed why their relationship came to an end, but she alluded to them being too different.

‘I’m so grateful for his presence in my life. He helped heal me and reclaim myself. There truly may be no better man, no man who’s more genuinely “good,”‘ she wrote. ‘He’s brilliant and witty and funny and sexy.
‘But it doesn’t matter how much we may wish we were birds of a feather — we’re still a duck and a goose.’

The photo shows Sorkin holding Porizkova’s scarf in his hand and looking at her with a smile on his face while out on a stroll.
The Sports Illustrated Swimsuit alum went on to note that she will not be speaking of their breakup in the future out of respect for Sorkin.

The couple made their red carpet debut at the Academy Awards in April, with the model dazzling in a shimmery gold dress.
She joked on Instagram that she wanted to ‘look like a female Oscar’ so her date ‘could still take one home’ if he didn’t win his category.
Later, in a New York Times profile, she revealed that Sorkin, whom she called a ‘great kisser,’ invited her to the Oscars for their second date.

The A-list couple’s surprise pairing made a huge splash at the ceremony held at Los Angeles’ Union Station, and Porizkova said she was nervous about making things official at such a huge event.
‘This is going to kind of take me off the market for a little bit,’ she told Sorkin, who won an Oscar for his 2009 Facebook biopic The Social Network.
‘OK,’ he replied.
It’s unclear when the two parted ways, but Porizkova has been busy jet-setting around the globe this month.
She spent a few weeks working in Rome, where she strutted her stuff in Fendi’s runway show on July 8.

Instead of a typical runway, the models walked through an intricate maze of archways before coming to a stop on a large leveled structure — a picture-perfect spot for a final photo of all the looks together.
Days later, she traveled 19 hours to Costa Rica for a tropical vacation.
Porizkova shared a photo of herself boarding a small plane on July 11, writing: ‘Goodbye Rome, hello Costa Rica! It only took me 19 hours to get here. Also — 19 hours in a mask is itchy.
‘I ended up eating Fritos (sorry, don’t like chips) just so I could not wear it for a moment,’ she admitted. ‘But here I am. It’s vacation time thanks to my friends Thierry and Marcia.’

Costa Rica has become a happy place for the mother of two, who traveled there in early 2020 when she was just months into mourning her late husband.
‘I don’t know what it is about being here, but my anxiety drops to nearly undetectable, and I feel like I get to pause all the stress of life,’ she captioned a photo of herself lounging at the resort in cream bikini.
‘The minute I leave, it all comes rushing in again, but aaah, I can live for those moments of peace. I’m so incredibly grateful for the opportunity to come here,’ she added. ‘And for good friends who give me a hand when I need it.’
Porizkova seemed to have had an incredible time in Costa Rica, where she soaked up the sun, watched the wildlife from her villa, and dined on local fruit.
She shared a number of bikini photos as well as videos of herself frolicking in the ocean and posing underneath a waterfall in the jungle.

Before leaving Costa Rica, she posted a photo of herself waiting at the Tambor Airport. She revealed she was flying to New York City for one day and then Los Angeles.
The day before she announced her split from Sorkin, she shared a photo of herself sporting extensions at a photo shoot.
‘A brief stopover in NYC for a fun job — which, yes, required me to go this sunny blonde. Sunny blonde AND hair extensions,’ she wrote. ‘I keep thinking I look very Scandinavian here. Back to my (not-actual) roots! But I sort of like it. What do you think?’
