Paulo Dybala has revealed that he is in talks with Juventus over extending his stay at the club.
The forward’s current contract expires at the end of the season, but with the Argentine now helping spearheading Juve’s attack following the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo to Manchester United, he is hopeful of a new deal.
Speaking after scoring in Juventus’s 3-0 Champions League win over Malmo, where he netted from the penalty spot, the 27-year-old confirmed that a change in management of the club, with Max Allegri back in charge, has helped refresh talks of a new deal.

‘I think there will be a new meeting this week. The directors have changed, so we’ve started from the beginning,’ Dybala told Sky Sport Italia.
‘We hope to reach a happy conclusion, I hope there will be good news soon.’
Later Dybala claimed that early negotiations have already been promising, with Italian reports claiming he wants an improved financial deal worth around £10m-a-year to match team-mate Matthijs de Ligt who is the highest earner at the club.
He told Sport Mediaset: ‘I always try to give my all. The parties are talking, we are all on the same page and hope to reach a happy conclusion.’

Since joining from Palermo in 2015, Dybala has found the net 102 times in 257 games for the Bianconeri.
Alex Sandro and Alvaro Morata also netted either side of Dybala’s spot-kick in the 3-0 Champions League win in Sweden which has helped distract the club away from their poor start to the domestic campaign.
Juventus suffered a late 2-1 loss at Napoli on Saturday, and it leaves them 16th in the table with just one point after three games having also been defeated by Empoli and drawn with Udinese.
