Paulo Dybala cheekily asked UEFA to be awarded Juventus’ fourth goal against Ferencvaros as a reward for scoring in his last six Champions League seasons.

The Argentine forward netted the third goal in Juve’s 4-1 win on Wednesday night, making him the only player to have found the net in his previous six campaigns of the European elite competition with the Italian outfit.

The Serie A side’s fourth goal went down as an own goal by Lasha Dvali as he failed to clear Dybala’s effort on the goalline.

The 25-year-old defender’s attempted clearance hit the crossbar and ended up in the back of the net and as a result Dybala was not awarded the goal.

In response to UEFA praising his Champions League goalscoring exploits, Dybala tried his luck with a cheeky request.

UEFA’s Tweet read: ‘Dybala is the only player to have scored in each of the last 6 #UCL seasons with Juve.’

The 26-year-old replied with a clapping hands emoji and wrote: ‘and to celebrate, can I have a brace today?’

Alvaro Morata had put Andrea Pirlo’s side 2-0 up in the Group G clash before Dybala made his mark after coming off the bench with just over 20 minutes remaining.

At the halfway point of the group stages Juventus are in second place in their group, three points behind leaders Barcelona.
