And on Monday, Penelope Cruz looked absolutely amazing as she attended the SAG-AFTRA Foundation event, Conversations: The Assassination Of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story, in New York. 

The 44-year-old, who stars as designer Donatella Versace in the series, was there as part of a Q&A for the FX drama.

For the event, the mother-of-two wore a figure-flattering, asymmetrical dress. 

The black-and-white frock featured a tassel front, along with a high split on one side. 

Penelope accessorized with a coordinating purse and two rings. She topped off her look with a set of black-and-gold platform heels. 

For make-up, Penelope highlighted her brown eyes with dark liner and added a soft flush to her cheeks, and lips.

The drama tells the story of the murder of Donatella’s brother, Gianni Versace. The famed Italian designer was fatally shot by serial killer, Andrew Cunanan, in 1997.

‘The important thing is, if there is a case anywhere in the world that isn’t clear, then why not look at it again? I am in favor of that.’
