Penelope Cruz’s lookalike sister Monica, 46, is the spitting image of the actress as she dons a thigh-skimming sequinned mini skirt at the Canneseries International Festival
Penelope Cruz’s sister Monica was the spitting image of the star as she attended the Un Dos Tres Nouvelle Generation photocall in Cannes on Saturday.
The Spanish actress, 46, put on a leggy display in a silver sequinned mini skirt and a funky black collared top as she posed for snaps at the event during the Canneseries International Festival.
Monica teamed her look with eye-catching gold metallic platform heels as she posed alongside her co-stars Miguel Angel Munoz, and Beatriz Luengo.
The series focuses on Roberto, who returns to Spain following a trip to the United States, with the idea of staging a great musical and bringing together the old talents of the school with new ones, to shine as before.
Monica was enjoying a day off from parenting duties to her daughter Antonella, nine.

The star made the decision to have a child alone, and welcomed her youngster by an anonymous sperm donor.
It was a decision that was five years in the making, and she told The Mail On Sunday in 2014: ‘It was not a decision I took on a whim.
‘But once I had thought about it – and investigated – I knew it had to happen. Being a mother was too important to me to risk running out of time.’
Meanwhile, her sister Penelope shares two children with husband Javier Bardem – son Leo, born in 2011, and daughter Luna, born in 2013.
‘I don’t think this makes me brave,’ Monica added. ‘Why is it braver to be a single mother versus being with a partner?
‘Being in a couple and having a child could be more challenging, because there might be conflict.
‘If the male partner cannot understand the extreme attachment a woman feels when she has a child.’
It comes following the news that Scarlett Johansson and Penelope may be working together again.

The actresses memorably kissed in Woody Allen’s love triangle story Vicky Cristina Barcelona with Javier Bardem from 2008.
Now Johansson – who was on SNL last week – and Cruz are in talks to work with Michael Fassbender and Owen Wilson in a Netflix film from director Nancy Meyers.
The big-budget movie is currently titled Paris Paramount.
It tells the story of an above-the-line filmmaking duo who begrudgingly reunite on set after falling in and out of love with one another.
Meyers is directing from her own script and also serves as a producer on the film.
