A Pennsylvania man has been arrested for allegedly choking a woman because she changed her iPad password.

Bret Hedden, 34, began choking Arlene Vinup during an argument at his Scranton apartment on Wednesday, after she told him she no longer wanted him to use her iPad, according to the Times-Tribune. 

When police arrived at Hedden’s home just before 10pm they found him running down the back steps of his apartment on Bundy St.

He is being held at in Lackawanna County Prison under charges of strangulation, assault and harassment, with bail is set at $10,000 pending a preliminary hearing on October 30.

The nature of the relationship between Hedden and Vinup remain unclear, as well as her condition after the incident. 

However, his Facebook profile shows him to be in a relatioship with another woman by the name of Rosa Araujo.
