Perrie Edwards flaunts abs in a crop top from her new sportswear collection as she battles to make her fashion brand inclusive for all bodies

She’s been inspiring young fans since her Little Mix days but has battled with self-confidence since a young age.

And Perrie Edwards showcased her abs in a cheeky Instagram post to share her latest Disora activewear collection which dropped on Friday.

The singer, 29, has revealed she has had some big ‘reality checks’ in making her brand bring more representation and inclusivity.

Speaking with Grazia, Perrie discussed the criticism she received over her first collection not having enough sizes.

‘The only things people were critiquing online was about the size inclusivity issues, and that’s why I was getting so upset. The vision I had with Disora was to be as inclusive as possible.’

She added: ‘The vision I had with Disora was to be as inclusive as possible, and it got to the stage where I said this isn’t what I wanted for my brand. This isn’t what I was expecting.

‘I think with confidence and self-empowerment comes with age, you learn not to care about what other people think.’

Perrie made sure her latest collection included women of all shapes and sizes to make sure no one is left out.

The star’s fashion brand is now one of only 6 percent of brands selling size 18 and above.

Perrie originally launched Disora to create stylish, everyday activewear to lounge in or work out in, even if you aren’t the gym type.

The singer recently shared her battle with self-confidence and revealed bullies made her criticise herself when she was growing up.

Speaking to Grazia, she said: ‘I hated my freckles, and I had a big scar on my stomach from surgeries. I just hated everything.

‘People used to bully me and I think it was something that I internalized. Everyone was criticising me, and that made me criticise myself.’

The Little Mix star appeared in this year’s collection of Disora as she appears alongside her models for the shoot.

The singer recently teased her fans with a behind-the-scenes clip of her at her recording studio during an LA trip.

Fans were quick to speculate a solo career could be on the cards following the bands choice to ‘take a break’ in 2021.

Jade Thirlwall has reportedly signed to Harry Styles’ management company and recorded solo tracks since the girls ‘split’.

Meanwhile Jesy Nelson recently appeared on Celebrity Bake Off and fans were quick to comment on her nail length for the show.
