The car can be seen in the footage making a U-turn into oncoming traffic forcing several drivers to slam on the brakes, 9News reported.

Police allege the car had been stolen from a home in Bentley sometime between November 23 and December 5.

It is alleged the vehicle was then used as the getaway car for two home robberies in Daglish.

Police then spotted the allegedly stolen vehicle before attempting to pursue it through several suburbs including Cannington, Thornlie and Cockburn.

The alleged driver then stopped the car on Tuckfield Street, in Fremantle, before fleeing on foot and climbing onto the roof of a Naval Store.

He allegedly yelled at officers and punched a nearby wall while jumping from one foot to the other.
