A Perth man has ended up with quite the wound after jumping off a pier.
Kami Wenolds threw himself of a jetty and sliced his leg open on razor sharp mussels.
He took to Facebook on Wednesday to share some horrific images of his injury.

They show a deep hash running the length of his shin.
‘MUSSELS on a rock in the ocean. This is how I cut myself. I jumped off a pier. I’m special,’ he wrote alongside the images.
Miraculously doctors were able to stitch up the massive cut with 29 stitches.
‘Just had the dressing taken off this morning, and took a quick pic before they put the new one on,’ Mr Wenolds wrote on Facebook.
‘They cleaned her up nicely.’
The post quickly attracted a number of comments.
‘You might need a band-aid for that one,’ one person wrote.
