A lucky punter has won a six-figure sum in the lottery for the second time.
The Perth man in his 40s scooped Lotterywest’s $382,311 division one prize on Saturday – 12 years after he took home the competition’s $150,000 jackpot.
He won that prize in 2007 as part of a syndicate and has been playing ever since in the hope of getting the rub of the green once again.

‘I was always very confident, you have to be,’ he said.
‘We were at a friend’s party when I checked the Lotterywest app, I called my wife over and we have been floating ever since.’
The lottery winner, from Munster in the city’s south-west, added learning of his win at the end of a two-week holiday made his return to work a lot easier to take.
His victory comes as Australia prepares for a $50million Oz Lotto prize draw on Tuesday.
The jackpot has soared to the mammoth total after the division one jackpot failed to find a winner for each of the past six weeks.
The Lott’s Matt Hart said one in five Australian adults were expected to enter the draw.
‘We’ve seen the Oz Lotto jackpot gather momentum during the past six weeks to reach the lofty heights of $50 million,’ he said.

‘With less than three months left in 2019 and in this decade, many players may be dreaming of how their future might look with a truckload of cash in the bank accounts.’
A Sydney father won $96million in August after spending $5.50 on a Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot ticket.
It was Australia’s second-biggest ever prize won by a single person, after a Sydney woman won $107million playing Powerball in January.
