Pete Davidson mercilessly mocks the Jonas Brothers in their upcoming Netflix roast

Pete Davidson doesn’t hold back as he ribs the Jonas Brothers in a new clip for the upcoming Jonas Brothers Family Roast from Netflix.

The 27-year-old Saturday Night Live star poked fun at the brothers and bandmates for having their music played in supermarkets and ribbed Nick Jonas, 29, for winning a Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Award.

Nick, Joe, 32, and Kevin Jonas, 34, are set to be made fun of by even more comedians when the Kenan Thompson–hosted special arrives on Netflix on November 23.

Having a laugh: Pete Davidson, 27, took shots at the Jonas Brothers in a new clip for their upcoming Netflix special Jonas Brothers Family Roast that was released Wednesday

Unlike traditional roasts, in which the comedians are on stage or behind a podium, Pete appeared to just be standing up among the audience members to blast hard-hitting jokes at the musical trio.

The comic showed his appreciation for the Jonas Brothers with a yellow ‘I [Heart] Jonas’ T-shirt, and he said that he was a ‘huge fan.’

‘I listen to the Jonas Brothers every time I’m in a supermarket,’ he joked, which got Kevin to throw his head back with laughter.

Pete affected some mock-sincerity as he urged the audience to dampen its laughter and ‘show some respect’ to the special’s stars.

‘I mean, show some respect, OK? Nick’s a legit actor now,’ he continued. ‘He’s won everything from a Kid’s Choice Award to a Teen Choice Award.’

Nick didn’t seem to mind the ribbing too much as he doubled over with laughter and applauded.

‘Did you know Nick even had a hit called Jealous?’ Pete asked. ‘Though it would have been way more believable if Kevin was singing it.’

The roast special is being hosted by fellow SNL star Kenan Thompson, though he played a limited role in the newest clip.

The show will feature a bevy of special guests, including John Legend, who will be performing a song on piano for the brothers, as well as comedian Gabriel Iglesias, One Direction member Niall Horan, Lilly Singh, and Jack Whitehall.

Nick is also likely to get some jokes tailored just for him when his costar on The Voice, Blake Shelton, makes an appearance.

The Jonas Brothers will be the targets of some very personal zingers, as Nick’s wife Priyanka Chopra, Joe’s wife Sophie Turner and Kevin’s wife Danielle Jonas will all be featured.

It’s unclear if the musical family will leave the roasting to the professionals, or if they’ll also take jabs at each other.

The roast may be taking a more family friendly approach than usual, as Netflix’s description says the show will also feature sketches with the Jonas Brothers and special games.

Nick, Joe and Kevin first announced their special late last month when they said it ‘celebrates the universal truth that no one can get under your skin quite like your family.’
