Finally! After just 44-years on planet earth, ‘Paleo’ Pete Evans has finally qualified for a brain upgrade, announcing on Thursday he’d checked-in to a mysterious Seattle facility
But just what is the mysterious, proudly exclusive 40 Years of Zen organisation?
The program is the brainchild of Albuquerque entrepreneur, ‘Bulletproof Coffee’ inventor and self-professed ‘biohacker’ Dave Asprey.
‘The idea is simple. Your brain uses electricity. If you turn it into sounds and play them back to your brain, your brain gets new information about how it’s doing,’ he explains on the program’s website.

He said humanity’s tried to ‘understand what was happening inside the head for thousands of years’ – but now he’s finally found and ‘hacked’ the technology.
‘I’ve taken my experience and the expertise of top neuroscientists and meditators to craft a new, 40 Years of Zen™ brain training program called Essentials Upgrade 1.’
It’s here! Having completed a strenuous pre-screening process, and qualifying for the $15,000 5-day ‘brain upgrade’ course, Pete’s big day has finally arrived
Welcome! But just what is the mysterious, proudly exclusive 40 Years of Zen organisation? (pictured is the training facility in Kent, Washington)
Thanks to Dave’s ‘biohacking’ powers, Pete stands to leave Washington State with his brain at the same level as a Zen master in just 5-days as opposed to the 40+ years usually required.
The problem, Dave admits, is such a sophisticated facility ‘can only handle a small number of brain upgrades at a time.’

How does it work? ‘I’ve taken my experience and the expertise of top neuroscientists and meditators to craft a new, 40 Years of Zen™ brain training program called Essentials Upgrade 1,’ the founder boasts on the organisation’s website
Luckily, the New Mexico local deemed horse-loving, paleo-eating, nudist Pete worthy of the program, which includes a 12-month membership to the ‘Mastermind’ club.
So even after Pete becomes enlightened, he’ll be able to keep in the loop with other ‘high performance people,’ the site says.
Dave’s ultimate goal for the program’s future is simple: ‘To stimulate demand for this type of training and to eventually get it into each and every high school in the world.’
