‘This man started yelling at me really aggressively!’ Peter Andre reveals he was left ‘petrified’ after run-in with a feared Japanese Yakuza in a Tokyo bar
Peter Andre was left ‘petrified’ after he came face to face with a Japanese mafia boss in a bar.
The singer, 50, revealed he had a ‘dangerous’ run-in with the Yakuza member while he was having a drink in Tokyo.
The father-of-four, who was living in Japan at the time, said he was ‘aggressively yelled at’ by the man who was showing his ‘authority’.
Peter told The Sunday Times: ‘On this particular night, this man just started yelling at me really aggressively and it turned out he was a member of the Japanese mafia, the yakuza.
‘I had no idea what he was saying but apparently it was a demonstration of his authority. I was petrified but fortunately the situation didn’t escalate.’

The Yakuza are known for their elaborate full-body tattoos and lopped-off little fingers. They control the criminal underworld of Japan with mass murder, organ trafficking and run the country’s sex trade.
There are around 35,000 members of the organised crime syndicate which also carries out ruthless illegal business dealings in drugs and firearms.
Peter also discussed his many travels throughout his career including when he toured with the Backstreet Boys.
The Mysterious Girl singer revealed he ended up in a naked sauna with the boy band while they visited Germany.
Peter added: ‘We turned up in our towels and soon realised that everyone else was naked, which we weren’t too keen on. It was a mixed sauna too, so we were just sitting there surrounded by all these naked men and women. We all just looked at each other giggling.’
It comes after Peter revealed his daughter Princess has been flooded with offers to work with brands – but said her schoolwork comes first.
The daughter of Katie Price and Peter recently landed a modelling deal with PrettyLittleThing.
But the singer said he has strict rules when it comes to her future career as he wants her to focus on her exams.

In his latest column for New Magazine, the protective father wrote: ‘It’s been a crazy week for Princess with studying for exams and offers coming in from certain brands.
‘She gets asked to do stuff all the time, but she’s just doing bits here and there. Nothing that interferes with schoolwork, I’m pretty strict about that.
‘But the news she’s really excited about is that, by the time you read this, she’ll have had her braces removed.
‘Like many others in the same position she’s so excited. She’s nearly 16 and has her school prom soon so, as she says, the timing is perfect.’
It comes after MailOnline exclusively revealed that Princess is following in her mother Katie’s footsteps by landing her first ever modelling deal.
Princess is set to sign a four-figure contract to collaborate with the online giant on Instagram and TikTok content after impressing the brand when she posted to her 595K followers about loving their clothes.

The teen, who’s the daughter of former glamour model Katie, 44, is ‘over the moon’ to be joining the likes of Molly-Mae Hague and Gemma Owen on the retailer’s roster.
A source revealed: ‘Princess is so excited, she’s looked up to her mum for years and has aspired to model for a brand like PrettyLittleThing since she can remember.
‘She knows she’s still young at 15 but Pete is going to oversee her work with PLT to ensure she’s protected and well looked after.
‘The partnership was born organically after Princess posted on Instagram about wearing the brand, it’s naturally a great fit for both parties.’
MailOnline has contacted Princess Andre’s representative for comment.
