Peter Andre transforms into tattooed heroin addict for movie

He is known for his squeaky clean image, having soared to global prominence with his catching pop hit, Mysterious Girl, in 1996.

But Peter Andre has proven his rising acting prowess by transforming into a heroin addict for his new short independent film, The Inheritance.

Heavily tattooed with a slew of piercings and track marks on his arms, the singer, 45, proves to be a far cry from his usual look in intense new stills from the set in Los Angeles.

Clearly his new passionate project, Peter seems to have given the role his all as he shocks in the new stills.

Dressed in a grey vest and blue jeans, the British born-Australia raised star sports a series of dramatic inkings, as well as ear and lip piercings.

Peter is also seen with spiky locks, which shows off the tattoo on the side of his face, as he’s seen with track marks on his arm.

Playing the troubles character of Harry, a suicidal heroin act,  in order stills the father-of-four can be seen cutting a distressed figure while a bottle of whiskey lays on the floor next to him.

A romance in the new flick is also teased as Peter is joined by a stunning red-headed actress in other flicks.

Speaking about the exciting new venture in his New! magazine column recently, Peter revealed: I had a great time filming in Los Angeles.

‘I’ve got the acting bug. Although it can be full-on, I can honestly say shooting was an incredible experience. It was intense and very dark. I can’t wait to see the edit.

‘Becoming the character took months of preparing and thankfully it paid off. I’ll be going back later in the year to film more.

“In fact, it looks like I’m going to be spending a lot more time in America, this year, so I’m lucky to have such, trusting wife and family,’ he concluded.

Peter is also lending his acting talents to a new flick The Underdog which has commended production this month.

Meanwhile, Peter’s stunning other half Emily McDonagh has been looking after their children Millie and Theo back in England.

Taking to her OK! column, she confessed: ‘I only get a set number of annual leave days, so would rather use those when we can go away with the kids or spend quality time together.

‘He’s working 16-hour days out there, so we wouldn’t get to spend any time together.’

Meanwhile, it was recently revealed that Emily no longer approaches Peter in the bedroom, after discovering he was broody.

Speaking to OK!, the TV personality said of his desire for a fifth child: ‘I don’t need to say it now, she just knows. That’s why she doesn’t go anywhere near me in bed. She’s like: “Stay over there”.’

Peter added: ‘It’s kind of weird, isn’t it? Especially as I was like so “never again” as I was having seven espressos a day and still struggling!’

Peter and Emily first met when her doctor father Ruaraidh treated the singer for kidney stones back in 2010, but they did not embark on romance until 2012.

Three years later, the lovebirds exchanged vows in a romantic ceremony at Mamhead House, in Exeter in July 2015.

The happy couple have since welcomed two children together – daughter Amelia, four, and son Theodore, one.
