Peter Stefanovic was replaced by Brendan Jones as a Weekend Today host this weekend while he attended the wedding of his colleague Jayne Azzopardi.
And his eather presenter colleague Belinda Russell joked that he’d better look out for his job after Brendan ‘pulled out all the stops’ during the successful stint.
The blonde beauty suggested that Peter had better ‘watch out’ as she shared a fierce Instagram snap of herself and Brendan posing on a motorbike.

Proving he was taking the gig seriously, he shared a snap of himself pulling a mock-severe impression while on set and wrote: ‘Serious news face? Check!’
In another shot he posed in his motorbike leathers in his dressing room, where his script for the day was on show in a folder marked ‘Brendan’.

While Peter stayed quiet on his temporary replacement, Brendan’s Jonesy and Amanda show colleague Amanda Keller couldn’t help praising him.
‘The Amanda part of Jonesy working on his ‘news face’. Better than his beer face. Doing a great job on @today. Hope he doesn’t throw to a song,’ she penned as she shared a snap of Brendan on Weekend Today.

Meanwhile, Peter and his brother Karl have been in the midst of a media storm after a ‘b****y’ exchange about their Nine Network colleagues was made public earlier this month.
