Yorkshire Ripper Peter Sutcliffe has demanded that his ashes be scattered in the same region where he killed 13 women.

His wish has outraged the son of one of his victims who has said there is ‘no way he’s coming back’.

The serial killer, 71, has allegedly told friends that he has updated his will to say he wants to be cremated after his death before being brought back ‘home’ to Yorkshire.

Yesterday Neil Jackson, 59, whose mother Emily, 42, was murdered by Sutcliffe in 1976, told The Sun: ‘There is no way he is coming back to Yorkshire.

‘He caused too much grief and anguish.

‘People will never forget what it was like when he was at large.’

Sutcliffe is currently at HMP Frankland serving 20 life sentences for the gruesome murders he committed between 1975-80 and he has reportedly accepted that he will die in prison.

Instructions in wills on scattering ashes are usually respected although they can be overturned by a court.

Such an order was issued against the wishes of child killer Ian Brady after a High Court ruled his remains could not be scattered on Saddleworth Moor, in the Peak District, where he buried his victims.
