Phoebe Bridgers has spoken about the ‘goods’ of TikTok and how the app has helped in the battle against mental health.
The songstress, 26, whose second album Punisher earned her four Grammy Award nominations, commanded attention when she posed in a number of edgy looks for the cover story of the latest issue of Porter magazine.
Alongside the incredible shoot, she said: ‘There’s way more good about TikTok than bad. Within the context of the world that we are in, TikTok is great…. But, for the most part, I think it’s a good thing that therapy and mental health is destigmatized.’.

The star, who is reportedly dating Normal People star Paul Mescal, explained to Porter how she is cautious not to overshare on social media.
She said: ‘I am terrified of myself reading my tweets from now, in five years’ time. I don’t want to be embarrassed and like, “Ugh you were 26 and tweeting about UTIs – what were you doing?”‘

She also discussed self-care, saying: ‘Taking a second for your life is important and was discouraged by the generation before us. Like taking a moment and making your apartment smell nice, or whatever. It’s not a means to an end, it is the end.
‘To me, I feel like the biggest piece of self-care advice is clean your house like your crush is coming over. Pick the trash you’ve been ignoring up off the table.’

Another inside shot sees Phoebe pose side-on in a Saint Laurent black bodysuit, drawing attention to her trim pins, while the cover sees her donning a black bikini top by Eres and a beaded black skirt by Christopher Kane.
Meanwhile it was reported earlier this month that Phoebe is dating Normal People star Paul, 25.

The rumoured new couple are thought to have spent the bank holiday over a romantic weekend in London, after Phoebe jetted over to the UK to be with him.
An onlooker who spotted them together, told The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre column: ‘Paul and Phoebe were out in Shoreditch and looked so sweet.
‘They were chatting, laughing and quite tactile. They seemed to really savour their time together.’

Back in August last year, a source claimed Paul was ‘smitten’ with Phoebe.
The insider shared: ‘Paul invited pals and they played wild drinking games. They’re both smitten. His membership on the celeb dating site Raya is a smokescreen to cover up that they’re secretly an item.’
Indie rock star Phoebe told NME magazine in May that she thought Paul was a ‘cute boy’ after becoming a fan of his after watching Normal People.
She went on to follow him on Instagram, with the Irish hunk quickly returning the favour.

During their Instagram Live, Paul also admitted: ‘I think it’s well documented that I love your music.’

Paul and the singer then stayed on Zoom together after the Live was over, where they drank together for several hours.
