Phoebe Burgess entertains her sisters, Harriet and Jemima, while in isolation

Phoebe Burgess entertains her sisters, Harriet and Jemima, while self-isolating at parents’ estate in Bowral – following a visit to Covid-19 exposure site Joh Bailey hair salon in Double Bay

Phoebe Burgess has been in isolation following a recent visit to Joh Bailey hair salon in Sydney’s Double Bay, after which she was tested for Covid-19.

On Sunday, the 32-year-old, who appears to be bunkered down at her parents’ estate, had a visit from her sisters, Harriet and Jemima.

In a photo shared to Instagram by Phoebe’s mother, Sarah Hooke, the trio of siblings sat outside for their socially distanced meet-up.

In the caption, Sarah explained the women were ‘planning’ – perhaps for Harriet’s upcoming wedding.

Harriet was recently engaged, and it’s likely the sisters are already planning the nuptials or an engagement party.

According to NSW Health, under Covid-19 restrictions for those in isolation, visitors are not allowed round to your home unless they’re providing emergency care or maintenance.

Anyone who was at the Joh Bailey salon from Tuesday June 15 to Sunday June 20 is considered a close contact, and must get tested and self-isolate for 14 days, regardless of the results of the test.

The ex-wife of former NRL star Sam Burgess visited the hair salon on June 22, just days after it was exposed to the virus, and hence is not forced to self-isolate.

On Friday, Phoebe said in an Instagram post that she planned to self-isolate of her own volition just in case.

She wrote:  ‘Isolating at home for the next couple of weeks, regardless of yesterday’s Covid test’. The result of her test is unclear.

Joh Bailey was added to Sydney’s growing list of COVID exposure sites on Tuesday, after it was revealed the venue was exposed from June 17 to June 19.

In a post on Instagram Stories on Thursday, Phoebe thanked her followers for checking in on her after the scare.

‘Thank you to everyone who has checked in,’ she wrote in the post.

Phoebe continued: ‘I’ve done my research about contact areas in Sydney and whilst I wasn’t at the Double Bay salon during the close contact timings, I chose to get tested and isolate as soon as possible.’

The journalist explained that she decided to get tested immediately after arriving back to the Southern Highlands following a 48 hour trip to COVID-infected Sydney.

She shared footage of herself getting tested for the virus, and also revealed that her four-year-old daughter, Poppy, whom she shares with Sam, was also tested.
