Phoebe Burgess reveals her kids have taken over her home office during homeschooling

She’s currently sharing custody of the two kids she shares with her former NRL star ex Sam Burgess.

And Phoebe Burgess, 32, revealed that during her time with Billy, four, and Poppy, two, she had given up control of her office to the two adorable toddlers.

Pinned up all over the walls were artworks by the kids, who appeared to be working at Phoebe’s desk.

Losing space: Phoebe Burgess, 32, revealed that during her time with Billy, four, and Poppy, two, she had given up control of her office to the two adorable toddlers

‘There goes my office,’ she captioned the video.

In a subsequent sponsored post, the former WAG could be seen picking herbs out in the garden of the Southern Highlands home she shares with her parents.

The images come after Burgess brushed off claims made by her ex-husband Sam in a tell-all interview this weekend.

The former WAG was all smiles and appeared not to have a care in the world as she enjoyed a Sunday picnic with her parents, Mitch and Sarah Hooke, and the two children she shares with Sam.

In a video shared to Instagram Stories, the family picnicked on sweeping rural property that makes up their Bowral estate in the Southern Highlands.

Mitch and Sarah were on grandparent duty, playing with the toddlers on what was a beautifully sunny day.

Phoebe also panned the camera over the blanket and delicious basket of food, before turning it on herself.

Her beaming smile and cheerful disposition displayed no concerns whatsoever over Sam’s confessions.

On Saturday, the former NRL star, also 32, told Stellar Magazine that he found it ‘hard’ to co-parent with Phoebe.

‘It is much harder than I thought it would be,’ he admitted. ‘Essentially, I still think it is the right decision for us both. I still care about Phoebe, we have two amazing kids. We just didn’t work out as a married couple’.

He added: ‘We should work out as parents and that, to me, is the most important thing right now. I’m trying to better myself so we can be better co-parents, which is my ultimate goal in this situation’.

After splitting from former Rabbitohs captain Sam in 2019, Phoebe and her two children had resided with her parents in Bowral, located in the Southern Highlands, before moving to her own home in the same area last month.

Last year, The Australian newspaper published untested claims against Sam of wild partying and domestic abuse during his marriage – which he denied.

Elsewhere in the Stellar interview, Sam again vehemently denied any allegations of violence previously levelled at him.

‘I’ve not said anything to this day about that… I categorically deny any case of domestic violence: being aggressive towards Phoebe – or any other woman,’ he said.

Sam and ex-wife and Phoebe split in October 2019, after four tumultuous years of marriage.

They had initially separated in December 2018 – shortly after the birth of their son, Billy – but reconciled in April, only to end things for good six months later.

Sam spent four weeks at Gold Coast Detox after he was caught driving with traces of cocaine in his system while on his way to pick up his children in February.

Burgess pleaded guilty in May to driving with traces of cocaine present in his saliva and escaped conviction.
